About
Ana María Martín Castro (Madrid, 1964) received her Ph.D. (1993, Special Doctoral Award with honours) under supervision of Prof. J. L. García Ruano, in the field of the sulfoxide-assisted asymmetric synthesis. As a postdoctoral fellow she joined the groups of Professors P. R. Raithby (Cambridge, 1997) and V. K. Aggarwal (Sheffield, 1998-2000). Dr. Martin Castro is currently an Associate Professor and a member of Prof. D. J. Cárdenas’ research group at the Organic Chemistry Department of the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid.
